The Purpose In Our Difficulties

If you had a choice in how many difficulties to face each day, the unanimous choice would be none. Although it may be hard to understand, God sees value during tough times. Through His almighty power, He uses burdens, trials, and grief to carry out His plan for each of us.

The greatest desire of Jesus is for us to have an intimate relationship with Him. However, He is fully aware of our struggle to put Him first in our lives, above our own interests of family, finances, careers, and other pleasures. When He sees us drifting further away from Him, He may place burdens, and struggles in life with the hope of bringing us closer to Him. God uses pain to shape, and mold us into individuals that reflect a more Christlike character.

Experiencing heartache and hardships will reflect our true beliefs. Our faith in God is truly tested during rough times. It's easy to realize that God is wonderful when life is good. But do we get close to Jesus when life events spiral out of control? These are times when we truly need Him most.

Romans 8: 28-29 states, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters."

The smartest thing we can do is to let our Wonderful Counselor into our lives. He has a plan and purpose for each of us. Take the nest step in faith. You'll be glad you did.

Our Problems Are Not The Problem

A guest pastor delivered a striking message a few months back and I thought it was worth repeating, although summarized.

It is far more important to know how to deal with the negative than to be positive. We can see with the eyes of faith and see opportunities or, we can fear and see obstacles. When we see with the eyes of fear:-We underestimate what God is capable of doing.-The longer we look at a problem and do nothing, the bigger it gets-We underestimate what we are capable of doing.-Problems don't defeat us-our perspective does.

What are the results of seeing with eyes of fear:

DiscouragementDiscontentDefeat

People who feel like failures oftentimes are the greatest critics.

3 Things Become Prevalent When We See With Eyes of FAITH

CourageConfidenceA "Can" man/woman

Two observations becomes clear:

Comfort and success are most often not compatibleGod is abundantly available for help and guidance during tough times

Your Problems May Be Good!

Did Our Savior ever suffer? Did He sometimes become lonely? Was He ever discouraged or tempted? Was He often misunderstood or unjustly criticized?

Absolutely! Not one of us is immune from pain, loneliness, disappointment, temptation or criticism. If you've had any of these experiences, Our Father is molding our character to that of Christ. In order for this to happen we must encounter life events or circumstances that Jesus experienced.

Our Father is a good and just God. He would never cause or do evil, but He uses stressful and troublesome times for good reasons. He will use painful events to teach us to put our faith and trust in Him. 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 reads, "I think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and completely overwhelmed, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we learned not to rely on ourselves, but on God who can raise the dead."

So, what's the best thing you can do if you're experiencing difficult times now?

1. Refuse to give up or get discouraged,

2. Know that God, Our Father, is always with each of us,

3. Rely on and trust in God's powerful protection. He will guide you.

As long as we continue to live on this planet, we will experience difficult or troubling events. Would you prefer to go it alone or have a Wonderful Counselor at your side?

Test Him!

The Best Way For You To Increase Your Finances

God uses personal finances to test our faith in Him. Maybe you've been faced with a decision to either pay a bill or give back to God through tithing. If you're like most people, you only have a limited amount of money each month. Where do you spend it? This is God's test to mankind. Essentially, He is saying, "Do you absolutely believe that I will take care of your bills for you? Or, do you believe that you are entirely responsible for taking care of them?

Malachi 3:10 says, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in My Temple. If you do, says the Lord Almighty, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let Me prove it to you!

In essence, God is saying, "Go ahead and test Me. I dare you to see what will happen and what I will do if you decide to become a generous and faithful individual." Tithe (giving the FIRST 10% of what you earn back to God, possibly through a church or charity), and see what will occur with your finances.

Actually, there are more references to giving than any other topic in the Bible. Jesus talked about giving more than Heaven or hell.

When you give from the heart, not reluctantly, you are really believing that God will take care of all your needs, including finances. If you are burdened and struggling financially, pray to God to help you increase your trust in Him. He wants to direct you and for you to find relief and to reach financial freedom. This will only happen if you put your total faith in Him.

As you begin to pray about your financial concerns and needs, jot them down on a piece of paper for later reference. Witness how God provides and works in your life, if you let Him. By keeping a diary, you'll discover a deepening faith in our Wonderful Counselor and Provider.

Dishonesty

God Is Watching

God doesn't like dishonesty and He certainly won't bless it.

Proverbs 16:11 reads, "The Lord demands fairness in every business deal; He sets the standard." This includes financial things like salary, commissions, and taxes. If you want to make certain that you receive God's blessing on personal finances, you need to be honest.

You can't be taking advantage of people. Profits made at the expense of others will always bring trouble.

Proverbs 10:22 reads, "The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

Do you know of anyone who has made money unfairly that brought corresponding trouble? You will always produce what you sow. If you promote dishonesty with other individuals, this will come back to you. If you think you won't get caught, know that the clock never stops ticking. It's impossible to fool God and to even think that anyone can get away with foul deeds.

Finally, be completely honest about your finances. Proverbs 10:16 states, "The earnings of the godly enhance their lives, but evil people squander their money on sin."

Encouraging Note for Today

If God used a refrigerator, your picture would be displayed.

If God needed a wallet, your photo would be inside.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.

He created breathtaking natural scenery for you to enjoy-take it all in!

God certainly didn't guarantee a life without pain, joy without sorrow,

light without darkness, but He did promise you strength for each day,

comfort for the burdens, and His guidance for your life's journey.

If God brought you to it, He'll bring you through it!

The Strangest Secret

People May Plan Their Lives But God Directs Their Steps

Here is a beautiful and encouraging message about two of the main characteristics of living.

You could say that The Strangest Secret supports these two encouraging Bible verses:

Jeremiah 29:11 which says, "For I know the plans I have for you", says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Proverbs 16:9 states, "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps."

Need A Miracle?

If your burden involves finances, health, relationships, or any other life challenge, there is hope; there is help awaiting you.

Our Wonderful Counselor is always with us. Pray this prayer to Him from the heart:

Dear Lord,
I want to thank you for another day of living.
and being able to see, hear, and walk.
I am blessed because You know me, understand me, and most of all forgive me.
You have given me so much and You continue to bless me.
You have forgiven me for everything I've said, done, or thought, past, present, and future.
Please shelter me from all evil and harm.
Guide me each day and give me an "attitude of gratitude".
Let me make the most of each day and clear my mind so I can hear from You.
Provide the wisdom I need to accept all things, good and bad.
Don't let me dwell on the negative circumstances I have no control over.
Give me the strength and courage I need when I feel I've reached my limits.
Even when I don't pray, You listen to my heart.
You have a plan for my life, so guide me to do Your will.
Continue to give me your grace so that I can be a blessing to other people.
Keep me positive so I can provide encouragement to others.
I pray for those who are struggling and have lost their way.
I pray for those who haven't discovered You yet.
I thank you for my belief in knowing that You can change all people for the better.
There is no problem, circumstance, or situation in this entire world that is greater than You.
I give my burdens and struggles to You for nothing worthwhile can be accomplished without You.
Father, I love You, need You, and want You in my life.
You don't give up on anyone.

Repeat this prayer often, from the heart, and see how God moves in your life!

Relief From Fear

What To Do When Your World Falls Apart

When your life starts unraveling, you'll probably experience many different emotions that can keep you chained, things like anger, grief, stress, frustration or regret. However, the most dangerous emotion is fear.

Fear keeps you from moving forward. It's paralyzing. It's a negative emotion that everyone experiences in one form or another--fear that you're not good enough; fear of the future; fear of what others may think. The list of fears is endless.

Regardless of what specific fear you are battling now, God says, "Do not fear." He is in control and He'll guide you through whatever burden you may be experiencing. In His perfect timing, He will help you.

Here are three solutions for fear:

Fill your personal life with God's Word. John 8:32 states, "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." The more you absorb God's Word, the more fear will subside from your life.

Fill your living by loving others. 1 John 4:18 says, "Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of judgment, and this shows that His love has not been perfected in us." The more you begin to understand God's unconditional love, the more you'll realize how His perfect love drives away fear.

Fill your living with trust. As you start to have more faith in God, you'll witness how fear is overcome. Faith is the solution to fear.

God has a way of turning around troubling times. Regardless of what burden you may be experiencing now or how bad a situation may appear, pray to Jesus to restore your life and remove your fears.

Lamentations 5:21 reads, "Restore us O Lord and bring us back to you again! Give us back the joys we once had."

A Counselor For All Seasons

One We Can't Do Without

Whether you realize it or not, we are our own worst enemy? Our fears, insecurities, interpretations, inadequacies, and reactions cause each of us to act in foolish ways many times.

Romans 7:24-25 reads, "Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord."

We need to be saved from ourselves because there are some personal attributes that each of us don't like. Maybe some people struggle with the outcomes of poor decisions or are burdened with life events that they wished could had been different-ones they would have changed. However, those changes can't be made from our own power. We need the help and guidance of a Counselor much more powerful. New Years resolutions are a great example of a desire for change. But as most of us know, those promises fade and become a distant memory all too soon. Why? Because we can't do it by ourselves. We need the power and grace provided by our Wonderful Counselor.

If we didn't need a Spiritual Guide, God would not have sent His Son to us. The simple fact that He sent His Son to us is a pretty clear indication of our need for a Savior.

Many people become frustrated because they are looking for life's answers in the wrong places. Maybe they think that fulfillment comes through a career or that next promotion. Or, maybe through marriage or having a baby. Things would be just fantastic if I had that large bank or retirement account. I wouldn't need anything else if I just dropped those extra 20 pounds or managed to take that bucket list trip to Bora Bora.

The solution to life's challenges is not found in a person, place, pill, or program. The answer is found through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. We were created by God for His purpose. He has a plan for each of us. Until that fact is realized, life will continue to be a struggle.

When we admit that we don't have the power to overcome sin that entangles us, we will have taken that first significant step down the right path. Only then will we be ready to accept the help that God offers.

Your life can drastically change for the better if you put total dependence in our Wonderful Counselor. Commit to taking that risk. It'll be the best decision you'll ever make in life.

Jason Gray's Remind Me Who I Am - Uplifting Song/Video

Avoiding Some Risk is Risky

Everything in Life is Risky

Putting trust in anything involves risk. Everything in life involves some form of risk. Ecclesiastes 10:8-9 states, "When you dig a well, you may fall in. When you demolish an old wall, you could be bitten by a snake. When you work in a quarry, stones might fall and crush you! When you chop wood, there is danger with each stroke of your ax! Such are the risks of life." Risk cannot be avoided.

Throughout life we'll come to the fork of faith. We're not quite sure where things are going. Possibly, it's a decision to begin a relationship with Jesus for the first time. Maybe it's a business decision where you need to trust Him or maybe it's in a personal relationship where you need Him. There is always risk in stepping out in total faith. Who can you trust? Will you commit to trusting Jesus with your entire being? What if you're wrong? Do you question whether it's God directing your step of trust?

You may have heard of the "80/20 rule". If you live your life according to 80% of the principles of the Bible, God will direct the other 20% of your life. For example, love your parents, children, and other people. Spend quiet time reading God's word. Pray to Jesus and make Him a daily part of your life. Associate with other Christian friends. Be kind to everyone. Be patient, even though this is tough sometimes. If you do these things, God will take care of you.

Take that risk. Trust in Jesus in everything you do. You will never regret it.

Prosperity and Abundance

The Secret to Prosperity is Clear and Simple

You may not be aware of this, but the formula for prosperity and abundance is mentioned repeatedly throughout the Bible. But, astounding as it may seem, this doctrine remains a mystery and is hidden to 97% of all humans. If this principle is easily recognized and openly available to all of us, why is it that only 3% of people know about it and actively pursue it? The reason? The vast majority of people possess a certain unhealthy mindset regarding five elements:

Wants and desires freely given to them by othersWants and desires provided for them by othersA desire to be elevated to a greater levelWants and desires obtained regardless of the consequencesWants and desires that dominate their every thought and deed.

Ironically, this thinking produces a blindness to the true formula for prosperity and abundance.

Would you be interested in knowing the secrets to successful living?

The first key is found in 1 Corinthians 9:19 when the verse says, "This means I am not bound to obey people just because they pay me, yet I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ."
The reality is that 97% of humans reject this thought as it's contrary to everything that they've been raised to believe. The main theme of society is to be served and not serve.
The second key is found in Galatians 5:13 and it states, "For you have been called to live in freedom--not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love."
So, the formula for prosperity and abundance is quite clear--
Your physical wealth is determined by how you will serve others in a way they want to be served. But remember, this is contrary to how most people think--be served but don't serve. Statements like, "Maybe I'll get rich by winning the lottery", or, "Maybe, if I can find a horde of cash somewhere or inherit a substantial sum of money, then I'll help others". The truth is you will only get wealthy by helping and serving others. Your wealth is secondary and comes only as a result of putting other people before yourself.
God has a plan for your life. Pray to Him and ask Him to reveal how you can help others. What do really like to do? What are you good at doing?
God has given you talents. Combine your talents with the time given to you and you'll find your treasures. This is the secret of the THREE T's-Time, Talent and Treasure.

Saying "I can't" and never progressing to "God can" is like having a high-performance sports car parked in your garage and never testing it's maximum speed because you're sure that it can only reach 20 miles per hour. Read More

Encouraging Bible Verses

Unshakable Certainty During Uncertain Times

Until our youngest son started playing T-ball, he hadn't been exposed to a life centered around clocks and calendars. All too often he would say "Is my game today?" Or, "how many days until Saturday?"

Jesus loves a childlike nature in all of us and He says it is necessary to enter God's kingdom. Our son simply took things for granted and was confident that his game would happen. However, he was depending on us to tell him when it would occur.

In his classic daily devotional, Oswald Chambers states, "The nature of the spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertainty." He states that we can be certain of God, even if we're uncertain about the next step He wants us to take. We can be certain of God's plan for us, even if we're uncertain of the specific details. Romans 5:5 says, "And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love." So, discard the concerns and burdens that are completely out of our control and stop worrying about them. Let God guide us through the turmoil according to His steps.

This is the childlike faith Jesus Christ wants us all to develop, where we mature confidently every day and realize that He will come through at the proper time and in the best way.

How To Deal With Rejections In Life

Everyone at one time or another has experienced the painful feelings of rejection. Maybe you were rejected by your mother or father. Or possibly, you've been rejected by a close friend. You may have been rejected by other students in school. However, the one person who will never reject you is Jesus. Read more

Fulfillment in Life

It doesn't matter who you are or what you do. All of us want to live life to the fullest. We want to experience all that God has for us. Unfortunately, many people drift from the one thing that can bring complete fulfillment, and that is devotion to Jesus Christ. Any time we compromise our relationship with God through sin and material pleasures, we suffer.

Although worldly desires may be attractive, they are temporary and never provide the peace and fulfillment we long to possess. True fulfillment isn't a result of money or personal achievements. Rather, true fulfillment is gained as a result of a personal relationship with Jesus. Seek God first and let Him shape our desires so they become His and not ours. He has blessings for us that we haven't received because He is waiting for us to give our lives to Him.

The wealth God has for all of us may not be the money in a bank account, but one thing is certain--God's riches are eternal. They are a lasting treasure that no money, fame, or fortune can provide.

His grace and eternal salvation is ours when we trust Him with our very lives.

Read the following verses from Proverbs 8:17-19: "I love all who love Me. Those who search for Me will surely find Me. Unending riches, honor, wealth, and justice are Mine to distribute. My gifts are better than the purest gold, My wages better than sterling silver." Great wisdom comes from Proverbs 16:9: "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps."

Bible Verses-Encouraging Bible Verses and Messages for Human Brokenness

Bible verses offer encouraging messages for daily living

If you search the word "brokenness" in the dictionary you'll get many different definitions-"forcibly separated into two or more pieces; break apart or sever by divorce, separation, or desertion; having been violated; being in the state of disarray; disordered; weakened; crushed by grief; financially ruined; bankrupt; not functioning or out of order." Can you relate to this term in any way?

It's enticing to think that humans need little or no improvement. Ask around, and you'll hear people admit that they could probably use a little character "tweaking" in a couple of problem areas. And, most would note the fact that they're basically nice people. However, don't be misguided into thinking the Great One will settle for humanity's minuscule view of "good enough" existence. God sees each believer as the individual they become when fully submitted to Jesus. He then begins a complete renovation, transforming an individual into the image of His Son. View God as our personal architect or designer.

A crucial step in the character redevelopment requires the elimination of excess or damaged "baggage." All components of self-will must be replaced. Admittedly, a person "under construction" is uncomfortable. God targets habits, attitudes, and even relationships where people act independently of His intent. Then He uses pressure to get our attention. The Father focuses on interests that are close to our hearts in order to extract the question, "What more are You looking for me to submit to?"

Our thinking and living patterns need to be aligned with God's ways in order to completely change us. During this transformation period, pain or discomfort may temporarily hide the beauty of His plan for us. But realize that nothing is more pleasing to God than a committed follower. Submit to becoming a servant of the Almighty One.

Romans 8:29-32 reads, "For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And He gave them right standing with Himself, and He promised them His glory. What can we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won't God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?"

Powerful messages are found in two bible verses.

Job 35:9-10 reads, "The oppressed cry out beneath the wrongs that are done to them. They groan beneath the power of the mighty. Yet they don't ask, 'Where is God my Creator, the one who gives songs in the night?" God comforts us during our darkest times.

Matthew 5:4 reads, "God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Know that you can be renewed and transformed through the Great One but it takes humility in order for these experiences to take place. Human pride often blocks our dealing with painful problems. Once we finally admit our wrongdoings and failures, there can be a real solution for us. Humbling ourselves before God is the ultimate key that will allow us to experience the wonderful comfort that only the Almighty One can provide.

As we begin to dedicate our lives to God, He directs life events, even the painful ones, for our benefit. He transforms our flaws into opportunities for us to develop and be blessed by Him.

Set aside a few moments, daily, to meditate on these encouraging bible verses based upon verses taken from the best selling book of all time-the Holy Bible.

Bible Verses-Encouraging Inspirational Daily Bible Verses on Habits

A mighty, yet subtle, human feature that everyone has irrespective of age, sex, faith or cultural background can catapult you into a life filled with peace, purpose, abundance, and prosperity . Regardless of your personal circumstances, following a few primary rules can eventually lead to a lifestyle that few people experience. This important characteristic is the foundation of healthy living. It's prudent to realize how it functions.

Can you name this human element that you possess?

The following message contains valuable words of wisdom:

-I'm your perpetual companion.

-I can be your best assistant or your heaviest burden.

-I will push you ahead or pull you down to failure.

-I'm completely at your disposal.

-Half the things you do, you might just as well present to me.

-I will do them quickly and effortlessly.

-I'm easily managed.

-You must simply be firm with me.

-Show me how you want something done.

-After a a couple of practice lessons I will do it automatically.

-I'm a servant to all great people and to all unsuccessful people as well.

-Those who become successful, I made successful.

-Those who become failures I made failures.

-I'm not a machine although I work with the precision of one.

-I work with the intelligence of a human.

-You can run me for profit or run me for ruin.

-It really makes no difference to me.

-By taking me, me and being strong with me.

-I will put the world at your doorstep.

-By taking me, conditioning me and being easy with me.

-I will lead you to the depths of destruction!

What am I? I am named...HABIT...!

The essence of the message is very clear. Poor habits will draw a person down and keep them in stagnation indefinitely. Good habits have an opposite effect. They allow people to gradually build living patterns that lead to a more peaceful, purposeful, abundant, and prosperous life.

Tragically, many believers and non-believers alike are being held captive to an ungodly and materialistic lifestyle. It could be the pursuit of money, power, relationships or anything that can develop into a pattern of bad living. John 8:34 reads, "Jesus replied, 'I assure you that everyone who sins is a slave of sin." 1 John 3:9 states, "Those who have been born into God's family do not sin because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning because they have been born of God." Often, ungodly habits begin in a way that appears iinnocent and fulfills a desire or need. For example, a person might visit a casino for a night of entertainment, limiting the gambling to a few bucks. Over time, the frequency of the visits and the spending limits may rise, leading to a habit that becomes uncontrollable. Although the gambler may hate the activity, they're powerless to stop. Ironically, in any addictive state people often believe that they can stop the behavior. Unfortunately bad habits are tough to break. Neither human will power nor effort can defeat this bondage. However, what man cannot accomplish, God can achieve. Luke 18:27 reads: "Jesus replied, "What is impossible from a human perspective is possible with God." Is there some habit, emotion, or dream that controls you? The Wonderful Counselor, Jesus Christ, can set you free.

Make it a good habit to spend time each day with daily devotions or a short prayer. Reading encouraging inspirational messages and scripture verses found in the Holy Bible can change your life forever.

Inspirational Bible Verses

Encouraging Bible Verses

Encouraging Bible Verses-Inspirational Verses For Abundance and Prosperity.

Aside from of age, sex, moral beliefs or cultural background, life can present many struggles. If you're looking for encouraging and inspirational ways to cope with the trials, tribulations and stress of daily life, the words of the Wonderful Counselor found in bible verses are your greatest option.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." God can instill the promise of this encouraging bible verse into your heart.

This year has seen great economic and other challenges for businesses and individuals alike. As you contemplate the possibilities and uncertainties in the coming year, what is it that seems virtually impossible in your life? Is there something that God has called you to do that seems well beyond your capability to achieve?

You might have trouble seeing how a problem, concern or situation can work out, but the Lord certainly does. He bears complete responsibility for your needs when you obey Him. Answers to life's struggles are all found in bible verses.

Psalm 16:11 reads: "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever." The Lord will show you what to do and teach you how to live daily life at its very best. Your obligation is to stay focused on His will. But how do we remain obedient to God so we can fully experience His faithfulness?

There are six ways to achieve these objectives:

1) Seek God's guidance. Living a Godly life does not come easily or naturally to any of us. Neither does trusting and submitting to the Father's will. Yet he will teach us how to follow Him and live a life that is pleasing to Him. God will also show us that we can always have faith in His faultless character. You can find the answers to any life questions in encouraging bible verses. You pick the topic. It could be desiring a life filled with abundance and prosperity, for example.

2) Listen to God. Giving attention to how the Lord is directing you is essential to walking with Him and remaining in the center of His will. If you never discover how to hear His voice, you will never be able to trust Him fully or grow as a result of what He is doing in your life. Daily, get in the habit of reading encouraging bible verses and daily devotions.

3) Observe God's help and provision. Oftentimes the Lord will be specific about what He desires for you to do or what He will achieve in your life. This is because the more challenging the path before you, the more He will have to help you. God wants you to have faith and depend upon Him. So look for the small ways He answers your prayers, the doors He opens and the ways He meets your needs step by step. Praise His intimate involvement in every detail of your daily living.

4) Maintain your focus on God's character, not on your circumstances. This is essential to the trials you face. Don't dwell on the problems. Focus on His promises. Knowing that God will never abandon you will help you face every obstacle with hope and persistence.

5) Recall God's victories. Psalm 63:7-8 reads, "Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me". It's important to remember all the ways the Lord has helped you so you can remain assured and courageous in the face of every obstacle.

6) Cultivate a Godlike life by meditating on encouraging bible verses. God wants you to be prosperous, which is why He constantly cautions you to cling to His word. In the Bible, you'll find the unchanging principles to help you live in a manner that is pleasing and honoring to Him. So read encouraging and inspirational bible quotes with joy, knowing that all He has done for His people in the past, He will do for you too when you trust Him and obey His commands.

Without doubt God is absolutely faithful in keeping His promises. So as you are confronted by difficult situations in the coming year, commit yourself to seeking Him, observing His commands, watching for His help, keeping your focus on Him, recalling His faithfulness, and embracing His word found in bible verses.

Your divine Father wants the very best for you, and He will never lead you astray. So focus on His will, and you will experience rich christian living at its very fullest.

Encouraging Inspirational Bible Verses and Messages for Life Hardships

We are not left alone to work out our life problems.

This thought may have crossed your mind at some period in life, "If God is good, why does He allow terrible things to happen?" Since the beginning of the human race, daily living has always involved adversity. Although life trials can be tough, knowing the Lord's purpose for them can bring comfort and hope. God's messages found in biblical verses make it known that suffering has meaning. The Great One is modeling His children to be like Him.

Romans 8:28-29 reads, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters."

Here are three principal points to consider, regarding personal trials of life:

First, when people become saved, they continue to have many "rough characteristics." The journey on the road to sanctification (growing in God's grace as a result of being reborn), requires the process of becoming holy and few things in life will build character like heartache. Unfortunately, people rarely acquire christian maturity during good times. Instead, pain causes ungodly characteristics to surface and forces individuals to reflect on their true nature.

Secondly, the reason why the Father allows trials is to test His childrens' religious belief. Believers soon learn that tested faith is deeper and more reliable than untested faith.

Finally, God allows difficulties so that His character, love, and power can be revealed. Throughout life's hardships, people who remain with the heavenly Father will find Him dependable and authentic.

As life's storms surface, remember His faithfulness from previous trials and rest assured that He is with you always. We are not left alone to solve our problems. As we turn our lives over to the Wonderful Counselor, He directs the events in our daily lives for our benefit, even the painful ones.

No individual wishes to suffer needlessly, however, experience and sorrow will mature the christian believer. We can learn from books and from the experiences of others, but most growth occurs as a result of personal trials. As disturbing events occur, sorrow and heartache may seem intense. But know that He has a plan for all trials of life.

Bible Verses-Encouraging Bible Verses for Hopelessness

Gutwrenching life situations can happen instantly and test the fortitude of even the strongest individuals. They can appear as a sudden death of a friend or family member, serious illness or accident, loss of job, foreclosure, bankruptcy, ID theft, divorce, home fire, or flooding. Any of these devastating events can seem overwhelming and hopeless. But regardless of the circumstances, there is always hope and encouraging inspiration found in the best selling book of all time-the Holy Bible.

The past twelve months have been severe for many individuals. Some made bad decisions, endured trials, or experienced unusual personal loss. Many times our efforts don't produce expected results. When that happens, we sometimes question the victory God promises us by living a Christian life. "What's the purpose of continuing to struggle? Things are empty and so meaningless. Are You still by my side, Lord?" These are common questions that can be asked. Read on

Bible Verses-Encouraging Bible Verses on Money and Living

Can you name the greatest selling book in history? The results can be found in "The Top Ten of Everything" by Russell Ash.

The Bible holds the top spot. No one actually knows how many copies of the Bible have been printed, sold, or distributed. The Bible Society's attempt to calculate the number printed between 1816 and 1975 produced the figure of approximately 2.4 billion. A more recent study, for the years up to 1992, puts it closer to 6 billion in more than 2,000 languages and dialects. Whatever the exact number, the Bible is by far the best selling book in history. Few individuals realize it's also

the best selling book of the year-year after year. Does this book have something fundamental to tell us?

The Bible has valuable things to say about numerous life issues, but I'd like to focus on issues of money and living.

If you were to ask a dozen prominent and prosperous individuals and ask them to describe the keys to their success, many would agree that a spiritual element helped shape a life of harmony, balance, peace, and prosperity.

Here are ten key bible verses related to money and living, all taken from the

respective chapters in the Book of Proverbs:

-10:4 "Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich."

-11:4 "Riches won't help on the day of judgment, but right living is a safeguard against

death."

-13:7 "Some who are poor pretend to be rich; others who are rich pretend to be poor."

-13:11 "Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows."

-14:23 "Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty."

-16:9 "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps."

-19:17 "If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord-and He repays you!"

-21:5 "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty."

-22:6 "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will

remain upon it."

-23:4 "Don't weary yourself trying to get rich. Why waste your time? For riches can

disappear as though they had the wings of a bird."

Possibly the most common but most subtle sin in our culture is greed, or materialism. Many people tire themselves attempting to accumulate more and more money so they can buy more and do more. There is nothing bad with money; it's the eternal quest of our own pleasure that God condemns. Pure joy comes from serving God and others with the things God has given us.

If life seems to be one endless struggle after another or healthy ideals have escaped you, there are answers from a Christian perspective that can help you with your money issues.

Faith Over Fear

Worry always stems from fear. Regardless of what worries you, kids, job, the future, fear is responsible.

Matthew 8:26 reads, "And Jesus answered, "Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!" Then He stood up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm."

In this passage Jesus exhibited dominance over the weather. His followers learned lessons of faith through God's incredible power. If He can calm a mighty storm, He can certainly calm the multitude of storms we encounter in our lives.

God, not fear, has the final authority. The words, "do not fear" are repeated throughout the Bible. Joshua 1:9 reads, "I command you - be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you."

Many people in biblical times, including Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Daniel, Peter, Paul, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, all faced fears and all were told by God not to be afraid.

Whether you are afraid or not, it's how you handle fear that's important.

There are three responses to fear:

to live with it,

to run from it, or

to face it with faith.

Our Savior, Jesus Christ wants us to face fear with faith in Him. An important message from John 14:27 reads, "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid."
